
The BFI are pleased to announce that one of BFI Southbank’s most popular monthly events MARK KERMODE LIVE IN 3D AT THE BFI (MK3D) will be moving online so that film fans can continue to engage with the latest movie news and discussions while BFI Southbank remains closed to the public.
The first show will take place online, for free, on BFI YouTube at 18:30 on 27 April with further shows taking place 18 May and 15 June.
Guests confirmed for the first edition ofMK3D Online at 18:30 on 27 April on BFI YouTube include BFI Chief Executive Ben Roberts, Gugu Mbatha-Raw of feminist comedy-drama MISBEHAVIOUR andBELLE fame, two of the stars of CALM WITH HORSES (Nick Rowland, 2019)Cosmo Jarvis and Niamh Algar, comedian and podcaster Greg Proops, writer-director Jack Howard, and actress, writer and producer Meera Syal. Guests for the May and June events will be announced soon.
MK3D Online will continue to bring lively and interactive conversation about what has been happening in the world of film, and to delve deeper into particular movies or topics, with a focus on the issues of the day and on diversity in front of and behind the camera.
